THE GJaps Pirates and Lorejo Farms will collide for the title in the Uraya Fortys Ballers Club (UFBC) Christmas League 2018 on Sunday, December 16, at the Elenita Heights court in Barangay Catalunan Grande.
Both GJaps Pirates and Lorejo Farms sported an identical 4-2 slate at the end of the double-round robin eliminations to earn finals berths.
However, GJaps Pirates absorbed a stinging 94-104 defeat at the hands of Tejada Express while Lorejo Farms bowed to DC Construction, 78-107.
Benjo Tonzo and Opleng Ayuman combined for 54 points for Tejada Express while the Pirates leaned on the services of Jeffrey Bucol and Rudy Coquilla who made 26 and 18 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Jupith Cuadrasal exploded with 69 points as his teammate Eric Amba added 20 for DC Construction.
Lorejo Farms’ Noli Auman canned 26 markers while Dale Gahito chipped in 20.
The DC Construction will play against Tejada Express for third place in the league organized for Elenita Heights Subdivision players.
