Ultracombo headline One Big Night

ROCK band Ultracombo consisting of Raimund Marasigan (Eraserheads, Sandwich, Pedicab) and Buddy Zabala (Eraserheads, Moonstar88, The Dawn) will be the main act of this year’s Ateneo de Davao Grand Alumni Homecoming dubbed as One Big Night.

The event is hosted by the Jubilarian celebrants Ateneo de Davao High School Batch 1999 with the golden celebrants ADDU HS batch 1974 and promises to be a night of fun, laughter, music, food, camaraderie, and nostalgia. The homecoming has the theme Remember, Reconnect and Reignite the Future – 99Knights’ One Big Night.  

Joining Ultracombo is a homegrown Ateneo de Davao High school band the Ice Cold Buko Juice, which is also an active indie band in this part of the country. The band consists of Paolo Claudio,  Bogs Quitain, Wardy Puyod and James Tan who are all coming from Ateneo de Davao HS batch 1995.

Prior to the alumni homecoming, the host batches held several activities that answered the call to be men and women for others. These projects included medical and surgical missions, nutrition drives and dispensed free legal advice to tribal communities in the Marilog district. Promoting the value of cura personalis, homegrown batch yoga gurus conducted yoga sessions.

As part of its fundraising initiatives and as a legacy project, the first Ateneo de Davao Golf Open was held at the South Pacific Golf Club.
