WE EXTEND our deepest gratitude to the thousands of Filipinos who voted for and stood with Bayan Muna in the recent elections. In the face of overwhelming odds, your votes are not just numbers—they are declarations of resistance, solidarity, and hope for genuine change.
Despite relentless attacks from the state—especially the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and the military—our campaign stood firm on the side of the people. The vilification, red-tagging, harassment, fake news, and disinformation campaigns targeted against us only exposed the desperation of those in power to silence the voice of dissent and suppress the will of the marginalized.
Mas tumindi ang panunupil para patahimikin ang progresibong tinig—pero mas lalong tumibay ang ating paninindigan
The party-list system, once envisioned as a mechanism to give voice to the marginalized, has now been thoroughly corrupted. It has become the playground of the elite—dominated by political dynasties, billionaires, and bureaucrats who exploit government programs like AICS, TUPAD, and AKAP to buy votes and manipulate the outcome of the elections. This is a betrayal of the spirit of the party-list law and the very principles of participatory democracy.
In addition, the automated election system (AES) once again failed the Filipino people. Reports of irregularities, machine errors, and technical glitches raise serious concerns about the credibility and integrity of the electoral process. We believe this flawed system was used to further marginalize the progressive bloc and deny Bayan Muna a seat it rightfully earned through the people's support.
Ginamit ang teknolohiya hindi para sa malinis na halalan, kundi para sa pandaraya.
Despite these setbacks, we remain undeterred. Bayan Muna will never be silenced. Our commitment to serve the Filipino people continues—inside or outside Congress. The struggle for land, wages, rights, and justice cannot be confined within parliamentary walls.
Hindi natatapos sa halalan ang laban. Ang tunay na pagbabago ay makakamit sa pagkakaisa at kolektibong pagkilos ng mamamayan.
We challenge the newly elected party-lists in Congress: be genuine representatives of the people. Stand against corruption, resist militarization, and uphold the rights of the marginalized. Do not be complicit in the continued exploitation and repression of the poor.
To our supporters and the Filipino masses, we offer only one promise—TULOY ANG LABAN.
Bayan Muna will continue to be a voice for the voiceless, a defender of the oppressed, and a staunch advocate of genuine social change.
