THE 12th Infantry (Lick ‘Em) Battalion of the Philippine Army based in Calinog, Iloilo held a send-off ceremony on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in Iloilo Province to mark its official deployment in support of the 2025 National and Local Elections.

The formal ceremony signifies our unit’s readiness to assist the Commission on Elections, Philippine National Police, and other stakeholders in ensuring peaceful, orderly, and credible elections.

This effort plays a vital role in preserving and strengthening democracy.

The battalion’s personnel will be deployed to various strategic areas across the provinces of Iloilo and Capiz to provide security and support operations before, during, and after the election period.

Soldiers underwent comprehensive training and coordination exercises for their assignment, including contingency planning, crowd control operations, legal orientation, and strict neutrality and non-partisanship policies.
