AS PART of its 51st anniversary pre-celebration, the Army’s 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division organized a blood donation drive on May 16, 2025, at the covered gymnasium of Camp General Macario B. Peralta Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz.
The initiative collected 71 blood bags and highlighted the division’s commitment to community service beyond its military duties.
Major General Michael Samson, commander of the 3ID, praised the effort, saying, “This blood donation drive reflects our dedication not only to national security but also to humanitarian efforts that directly impact lives.”
Samson stressed the importance of blood donation as a simple yet powerful act of kindness, saying troops and volunteers are uniting to support those in need.
"We recognize that service extends beyond the battlefield. By donating blood, we help save lives, strengthen our connection with the community, and exemplify the true essence of duty and compassion," he said.
Samson expressed his gratitude to the personnel and volunteers who contributed to this noble cause.
