POLICE Colonel Bayani Razalan was reinstated as the acting director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (Ippo) effective July 14, 2025, replacing Police Colonel Roland Bulalacao, who served as officer-in-charge.

The Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6) confirmed the leadership change on Monday, July 14, 2025, highlighting Razalan’s previous stint as provincial director and his track record in community-based policing, operational efficiency, and leadership.

“We welcome the return of Police Colonel Bayani Razalan to Iloilo with much enthusiasm. His familiarity with the province and his outstanding service record will certainly reinforce our efforts to uphold law and order,” said Police Brigadier General Josefino Ligan, PRO 6 director.

He expressed confidence in his leadership's potential to enhance programs and community partnerships.

Ligan also acknowledged the contributions of Bulalacao during his time as officer-in-charge and extended his best wishes as Bulalacao resumes his duties as deputy regional director for operations (DRDO).

PRO 6 expects renewed energy in the province’s law enforcement and public safety campaigns under Razalan’s command.

The office reiterated its commitment to uphold peace, integrity, and excellence in police service across Western Visayas. (Leo Solinap)
