THE Camp Peralta Station Hospital (CPSH) successfully conducted a Health Care Fair at Camp General Macario B. Peralta Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz in celebration of its 51st anniversary.

The event aimed to promote wellness among military personnel by offering essential health services on June 5, 2025.

Colonel Erwin Rommel Lamzon, assistant division commander for administration of the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division, served as the guest of honor and speaker. He praised CPSH staff for their commitment to the health and well-being of soldiers and their families.

“To the men and women of CPSH, this day belongs to you. You carry out a challenging mission with professionalism, dedication, and heart. You do not ask for recognition, yet your impact is undeniable—every medically cleared soldier, every dependent treated with dignity, and every community outreach bears your mark,” Lamzon said.

He emphasized that good health is essential to mission success and urged soldiers to take advantage of the services.

“Let today serve as a reminder that health is the foundation of operational strength, community resilience, and the future of our organization. For 33 years, CPSH has safeguarded that foundation,” he added.

The fair, guided by the theme “A healthy community is a product of our unity,” offered various services including medical and dental consultations, health education, mental health advocacy, and smoking cessation programs. It also featured the Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative, blood typing, HIV testing, deworming treatments, vital signs monitoring, BMI assessments, X-ray services, electrocardiograms (ECG), and circumcision.

Attendees received nutritional and dietary counseling, free haircuts, and financial guidance from partner institutions including ACDI, AFPSLAI, and PAFCPIC. The event reflected CPSH’s continued commitment to delivering comprehensive health care and supporting soldier-readiness across all units. (Leo Solinap/SunStar Philippines)
