The suspect, identified as alias Turagsoy, 47, single, and a resident of Barangay Ingore, La Paz District, Iloilo City, was apprehended after allegedly selling illegal drugs to an undercover police operative during the operation conducted by ICPS 2.
Recovered from the suspect were 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 60 grams, buy-bust money, and assorted drug paraphernalia. The estimated standard drug price (SDP) of the seized shabu is P408,000.
Authorities said the suspect is now in the custody of ICPO and will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
