

THE Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) achieved significant results in its week-long anti-criminality operations, conducted from July 14 to 20, 2025.
Police Colonel Kim Legada, ICPO director, praised his personnel's efforts. "I commend our personnel for their relentless efforts and dedication in achieving these accomplishments, which have made a significant impact on crime prevention," he said. "Let us continue working together to maintain peace and order."
Legada stressed the community's need to remain vigilant and supportive for a safer and more secure Iloilo City.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, police conducted 16 operations, arresting 21 drug personalities. Officers confiscated approximately 422.4757 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2,872,834.76 and 9.7282 grams of marijuana worth P1,167.38, based on the Standard Drug Price.
The ICPO also intensified operations against wanted persons. Thirteen operations led to 12 arrests, including five most wanted persons (MWP) and seven other wanted persons (OWP).
In the campaign against loose firearms, one individual was arrested, and eight firearms were recovered or surrendered.
Police cracked down on illegal gambling with four operations, arresting 13 individuals and confiscating P5,954 in bet money.
