

THE Iloilo City Police Office (Icpo), led by Police Colonel Kim Legada, was named Best City Police Office for 2025 during the 124th Police Service Anniversary at Camp General Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City, on August 12, 2025.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Guest of Honor and Speaker, personally handed the award to Legada during the ceremony, where Icpo bested Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and the Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) for the top honor in its category.
“This award is a testament to the hard work, professionalism, and commitment of every member of Icpo, as well as the strong partnership we share with our local government and stakeholders," he said.
Legada pledged to continue serving with honor and dedication to ensure the safety and security of Iloilo City.
The Iloilo City Government was also recognized as Best Local Government Unit in support to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the Highly Urbanized/Independent City Level Category, surpassing Zamboanga City and Pasig City.
Former Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the city government in Camp Crame.
