Iloilo’s 4th most wanted nabbed in Cebu for rape

THE fourth most wanted person (MWP) in Iloilo Province was arrested around 5:25 p.m. on June 17, 2025, in Talisay City, Cebu.

The Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6) reported that the arrest of alias Julie was carried out by the Tracker Team of the Tigbauan Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by Police Captain Alfred Mansoy, officer-in-charge.

According to Police Colonel Roland Bulalacao, officer-in-charge of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (Ippo), the arrest was made in collaboration with Talisay City Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Rape by Carnal Knowledge under Article 266-A, Paragraph (1)(A) in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code.

The warrant was issued by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 67, in Guimbal, Iloilo, on September 16, 2024.

No bail was recommended for the accused.

“The Ippo is working diligently to keep our communities safe and ensure victims and their families receive the justice they deserve,” Bulalacao said.

He praised Tigbauan MPS for their commitment and emphasized that this arrest reflects the Ippo’s firm resolve to pursue fugitives and bring them to justice.
