

THE Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), through the Tracker Team of Leganes Municipal Police Station (MPS), arrested the second Most Wanted Person (MWP) at the regional level in Barangay Guinobatan, Leganes, Iloilo, at around 5 p.m. on April 1, 2026.
Police Colonel Bayani Razalan, provincial director of the IPPO, said, “The arrest of a top most wanted person in the region demonstrates our relentless efforts to enforce the law and bring justice to victims. Our campaign against lawbreakers continues. I ask for the continued support and cooperation of the public in our campaign against crime.”
The arrested suspect, identified as alias Bon-Bon, of legal age and a resident of Barangay Guinobatan, Leganes, Iloilo, was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued in Criminal Case No. 26-97066 for statutory rape under Article 266-A(1) in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act (RA) 8353 and further amended by RA 11648.
The warrant was issued and signed by the presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 27, Iloilo City, dated March 31, 2026, with no bail bond recommended.
Authorities said the suspect is now in the custody of Leganes MPS for proper disposition.
The IPPO reiterated its commitment to intensifying manhunt operations and ensuring that wanted persons are arrested and brought before the court. (Leo Solinap)
