Bakeshop partners with Pilmico for feeding program in Panay

THE Bread and Butter Bakeshop has partnered with Pilmico Flour Mills for the Bayanihan Feeding Program for Children.

Guidon Dela Cruz, president of Filbake Foods Corporation (Bread and Butter), said that Pilmico gave flours enough to make 10,000 pieces of Nutri-breads.

Pilmico is a food and agribusiness subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, one of the largest flour milling company in the country.

The Nutri-breads was developed by Filbake.

"The Nutri-breads will be given to children affected by the enhanced community quarantine in the poor communities of Iloilo, Aklan and Antique. The Nutri-breads will supplement the food requirements of the children," Dela Cruz said.

The Bayanihan undertaking is also supported by the Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Ati-Atihan, Kool Art, Resto Serve, Vee-Eem Sales, local government units of Iloilo, Aklan and Antique, and Century Pacific.

"We are thankful to the Pilmico for feeding our children with nutritious bread in this time of global pandemic due to Covid-19," Dela Cruz said.
