DINAGYANG 2020 and Iloilo City left a good impression to Czech ambassador to the Philippines, Her Excellency Jana Šedivá.
She enjoyed the religious and cultural festival, which showcased the quality performances of eight school-based tribes.
"I appreciate the cleanliness of the city, and I'm truly impressed by the roads, highways and structures all over the metropolis," she said.
Šedivá thanked the Ilonggos for being warm-hearted.
On top of that, she admired what the city has already accomplished. She guaranteed she will come again here soon.
The ambassador is pursuing some development projects in Iloilo since some shelters were put up in the city a few years ago.
Now, a Czech film movie screening is being planned, and Czech musicians are set to perform in the upcoming Iloilo Summer Arts Festival to bring entertainment to the Ilonggos, which is also a way of uniting the two communities. (PR)
