

MORE than 250 residents from the barangays of Indaluyon, Cale, and Anilawan in Igbaras, Iloilo received free medical and dental services during a community outreach mission facilitated by the Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) on August 7, 2025.
Municipal Mayor Lawyer Vicente E. Escorpion Jr. served as keynote speaker during the event, which highlighted the commitment of various government and civic stakeholders to public service and grassroots health intervention.
Among the services provided were:
- 226 individuals given free medical consultations and medicines (170 adults and 56 children);
- Eight children underwent free circumcision with post-operative care;
- 57 individuals received free haircuts; and
- A feeding program for children in the area.
The medical and dental mission was held at the Covered Gym of Barangay Indaluyon in Igbaras, Iloilo and began at 8 a.m. Led by Police Captain Danilo Noca, R-PSB Team Leader assigned in the area, the activity was conducted in close coordination with the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Education (DepEd), Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Igbaras, Municipal Health Office (MHO), Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo, Megans Society, non-government organizations, the 61st Infantry (Hunter) Battalion (61IB) based in Miagao, Iloilo under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Jekyll Julian Dulawan, the 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and the Igbaras Municipal Police Station (MPS).
Noca expressed his gratitude to all agencies and organizations that supported the event.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa tulong ng bawat isa. Dito makikita natin na mas malawak at marami tayong mabibigyan ng tulong kung tayo ay nagtutulungan. Walang kontribusyon ang hindi mahalaga,” he said.
