
THE Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6) arrested 599 wanted persons during a total of 582 manhunt operations conducted across the region throughout March 2025.
Of the total arrests, 102 individuals were categorized as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), while 497 were classified as Other Wanted Persons (OWPs), according to PRO 6.
Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6) Director Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky praised the dedication of personnel and the strengthened collective efforts between the police, the community, and law enforcement agencies in holding the remaining wanted persons accountable.
“We remain resolute, and our intensified efforts will continue at the highest level until all fugitives are brought to court,” he said.
Among the 102 MWPs arrested, seven were identified at the regional level, 14 at the provincial level, and 81 at the municipal level. The breakdown of MWP arrests by unit is as follows:
1. Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) – 34
2. Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) – 29
3. Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) – 13
4. Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) – 9
5. Aklan Police Provincial Office (AKPPO) – 7
6. Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) – 5
7. Antique Police Provincial Office (ANTPPO) – 3
8. Regional Mobile Force Battalion in Western Visayas (RMFB 6) – 2
The arrests of 497 OWPs were also reported by various units:

4. ANPPO – 40
5. AKPPO – 29
6. BCPO – 25
7. CPPO – 22
8. Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) – 15

Of the total arrests, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office recorded the highest number with 272 arrests, accounting for 45.4 percent of the regional total.
