"The series of activities, including the ILOmination (The Parade of Lights), Sadsad sa Kalye Real, Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahan, and the Dinagyang Tribe Contest, were reflections of meticulous preparations and the profound intention to showcase the best of the Ilonggos," Wanky said.

He emphasized the collective efforts of 7,257 security personnel to maintain peace and order at various event locations during the successful celebration.

“While celebrating the success of the recently concluded Dinagyang Festival 2025, I am proud of the collective efforts that kept the celebration peaceful and orderly. I am aware of the sacrifices of our police personnel, emergency responders, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Army, organizers, other government agencies, force multipliers, and volunteer groups," Wanky said.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas also expressed gratitude to Task Force Dinagyang 2025 and all contributors to the festival’s success.

Treñas expressed gratitude to Task Force Dinagyang 2025, including the PNP, Philippine Army, BFP, force multipliers, and City Government employees, particularly traffic enforcers and emergency responders.

"Your dedication and service, whether under the heat of the sun or in the darkest hours, ensured that our Dinagyang Festival was peaceful, safe, and joyful. Your time, effort, and love for our city proved that even with the overwhelming number of people, our celebration could remain secure and filled with happiness," Treñas said.

He also expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and unity made by all participants in Dinagyang 2025, highlighting their significant contributions to the success of the event.

"This festival would not have been possible without your continued trust and service to our city. Viva Senior Sto. Niño!" Treñas said. (Leo Solinap)
