REVITALIZED Pulis Sa Barangay (RPSB) personnel deployed in Barangay Nagba, Tubungan, Iloilo successfully delivered Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-issued birth certificates to three senior citizens on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The documentation process began in the last quarter of 2024 and was facilitated by the RPSB team led by Police Captain Mark David Banay, who is assigned to Barangay Nagba.
The effort aimed to support residents who, for decades, had no formal proof of birth—hindering their access to government programs and services.
One of the recipients shared heartfelt thanks, saying, “Kon indi tungod sa mga pulis nga na-deploy diri sa amon barangay, wala kami makakuha sang amon birth certificate. Kami nagapasalamat gid sa ila bulig.”
(If it wasn't for the police deployed here in our barangay, we wouldn't have gotten our birth certificate. We are very grateful for their help.)
Banay expressed gratitude to Barangay Nagba officials, local residents, and Tubungan, Iloilo's government unit for their invaluable assistance in their ongoing efforts to serve the community through their deployment.
The RPSB program is a community-based initiative under the Philippine National Police that deploys officers to remote and underserved barangays, not only to maintain peace and order, but also to assist residents in accessing basic government services, such as civil registration, health care, and social welfare programs.
