THE Culasi Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the Antique Police Provincial Office (Antppo), arrested Western Visayas’ second most wanted person (MWP) during an operation in Trece Martires City, Cavite on June 3, 2025.
Police identified the accused as Ardo, 71, a resident of the said area.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for two counts of sexual assault, each with a bail set at P120,000, and one count of rape with no bail recommended.
“This accomplishment is a clear result of strong police-community cooperation and effective inter-unit coordination. It reflects our unwavering commitment to pursuing wanted individuals,” said Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6), who commended the commanders and personnel involved in the successful operation.
The arrest was carried out with support from the Regional Intelligence Unit in Western Visayas, the Provincial Intelligence Team-Antique, the 2nd Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Trece Martires Municipal Police Station.
Ardo is now under police custody and will be turned over to the court of jurisdiction. (Leo Solinap)
