PERSONNEL of Tibiao Municipal Police Station arrested the region's fourth most wanted person (MWP) for rape in Sitio Florceta, Barangay Tuno, Tibiao, Antique, on May 28, 2025.
Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6), confirmed the arrest of Joven, 33, laborer and resident of Barangay Tuno, Tibiao, Antique.
“This arrest is a clear testament to the dedication and unwavering commitment of our personnel in bringing wanted individuals to justice,” he said.
Wanky urged the public to continue supporting their campaign against wanted persons and all forms of criminal activity.
The arrest was carried out by Tibiao police with support from the 2nd Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company, Antique Provincial Intelligence Unit, Antique Provincial Intelligence Team, and the Regional Intelligence Unit.
Joven was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued on April 3, 2025, for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.
He is currently under police custody and will be turned over to the court of jurisdiction. (Leo Solinap)
