
A TOTAL of 16 graduates from Cebu-based schools have secured spots in the top 10 of the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET) at the Secondary Level, with a graduate from Cebu Normal University (CNU) claiming the top position.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results on Friday, December 13, 2024, saying that out of the 85,926 who took the exam, 48,875 passed, resulting in a national passing rate of 56.88 percent.
Lara Montebon Terro of CNU clinched the top spot in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET) Secondary Level with a score of 94.60 percent.
Ma. Romilyn Cañete Patindol, also from CNU, secured third place with a rating of 94.20 percent, while Anthony Ornido Acedre of CNU tied for sixth place with a score of 93.40 percent, alongside Alma Ybañez Maglasang of CNU and Nathaniel Cenas Niar from the University of San Carlos.
Christine Pearl Flores Abarques of the University of San Jose-Recoletos earned seventh place with a rating of 93.20 percent, while Maria Margarita Ampong Mantilla of the University of the Philippines Cebu took eighth place with 93 percent.
A total of six graduates from CNU tied for ninth place, each with a rating of 92.80 percent. These include Adonis Albarracin Bañaga II, Kenneth Brando Sagmon Fernandez, Christian Rodrigo Giango, April Dane Comiso Montederamos, Alyssa Mae Retubado Ranque, and Shaira Marabe Yanson.
John Philip Angco Alibong, Johnflor Narsico Limutan, and Lhar Briane Cadampog Sinsay, all from CNU, tied for 10th place with a score of 92.60 percent.
