TWO policemen were killed during a buy-bust in Bocaue, Bulacan on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) Public Information Officer Major Jaynalyn Udal identified the victims as Police Staff Sergeants Dennis Cudiamat and Gian George Dela Cruz, both members of the Bocaue Police Drug Enforcement Group.
Udal said the police officers were conducting a drug bust in Sitio Tugatog in Barangay Tambubong when the assailants fired upon them.
Cudiamat died on the spot due to a gunshot on his head, while Dela Cruz was declared dead upon arrival in a hospital.
The assailant took Cudiamat’s service firearm before fleeing.
A manhunt operation against the assailant is ongoing. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
