PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief General Nicolas Torre III has ordered the reshuffle of almost 30 police officials.
In an order effective Thursday, June 19, 2025, Torre assigned the following officials to new assignments:
*Police Major General Robert Alexander Morico III- Officer-in-charge of the Area Police Command-Visayas
*Police Brigadier General (PBGen.) Rolindo Macahilos Suguilon- Acting Regional Director of the Northern Mindanao (Region 10) Regional Police Office
*PBGen. Joseph Arguelles- Acting Director of the Police Regional Office 11 (Davao Region)
*PBGen. Paul Kenneth Lucas- Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO)
*PBGen. Melecio Buslig Jr.-Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the Mimaropa (Region 4B) Police Regional Office
*PBGen. Jaysen de Guzman- Regional Director of the Bangsamoro Regional Police Office
*PBGen. Jack Wanky- Acting Regional Director of the Calabarzon (Region 4A) Regional Police Office
*PBGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones- Acting Director of the Western Visayas (Region 6) Police Regional Office

In an interview with reporters, PNP spokesperson and Police Region Office-Central Luzon director PBGen. Jean Fajardo said the reshuffle was triggered by the vacancies brought about by the promotion of Torre.
“Aasahan natin meron kasunod ito sa darating na July, sa katapusan ng June, ay may mga mag-reretiro, lalong lalo na sa hanay ng mga regional directors so kailangan natin i-fill up yan ‘yung mga vacancies that will be created by the mandatory retirements ng mga third level officers natin,” Fajardo said.
