The truck tilted sideways, hitting two other cars and three motorcycles.

Three individuals, including a man waiting for a ride on the roadside and a motorcycle rider, were instantaneously killed in the incident while seven others were hurt.

The 38-year-old truck driver is currently under police custody.

Meanwhile, in Baguio City, three persons were killed when a delivery van smashed into three vehicles along Bokawkan Road around 3:30 a.m. May 29.

Baguio City Police Office chief Colonel Ruel Tagel said a closed van was seen swerving and speeding down Bokawkan Road towards Agrix, where it rammed into a Tamaraw FX, pushing it into the front glass door of a grocery store.

The van continued to speed down, hitting traffic signs and the parked Hyundai Tucson and Mitsubishi L300.
