The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a four-classroom building at Prado Siongco Elementary School.
Engr. Gregorio Audeo Jr., chief of DPWH Pampanga 2nd District, said the infrastructure has a funding of ₱9.94 million.
He said it is expected to help accommodate the increasing number of students and improve learning conditions.
Audea said the one-storey structure includes classrooms equipped with blackboards, ceiling fans, and lighting fixtures.
He said that facility aims to provide a more conducive environment for both students and teachers.
He added that the project will help expand access to primary education, particularly for children from underserved and remote communities.
“Expanding educational infrastructure through added facilities with modernized features supports quality learning environments. This new facility will help equip the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to become productive members of society,” Audea said.
