MANILA – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Friday issued final reminders for examinees taking the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on Sunday, urging all test takers to carefully review guidelines to ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the exam.
In a news release, the CSC advised examinees to read Examination Advisory 14, series of 2025, now available on the official CSC website (www.csc.gov.ph). Testing center details can also be checked through the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) on the same site.
Examinees are required to arrive at their designated testing venues no later than 6:30 a.m.
Gates will close strictly at 7:45 a.m., and latecomers will not be allowed to take the exam.
The CSC reiterated the "No ID, No Exam" policy.
Test takers must bring a valid ID, preferably the same one used during application. Examinees must wear proper attire – ideally plain white shirts or tops. Sleeveless tops, shorts, ripped jeans, and slippers are prohibited, and those wearing them will be denied entry.

Only black ball pens may be used for the answer sheet. Gel pens, sign pens, and other types are not allowed.
Electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, tablets, calculators, etc.) are not permitted at examinees’ seats.
Long hair must be tied back to ensure the face is clearly visible for verification.
Examinees must only use their assigned examinee number, which can be found in the Examinee Attendance Sheet, and should remember this number for result checking.
Test booklets and answer sheets must not be taken outside the testing room.
Scratch work is allowed only in designated booklet areas.
