OPM icon and APO Hiking Society member Danny Javier passed away on October 31, 2022, his friends confirmed on social media.
He was 75.
Javier, along with the other APO Hiking Society members Boboy Garovillo and Jim Paredes, had been credited for coining the term "Original Pilipino Music" or OPM.
Among the group's popular songs are Show Me A Smile, Pumapatak Ang Ulan, Pag-Ibig, and Awit ng Barkada. (CLC)
