FOLLOWING the arrest of one of the suspects, the police have identified three more persons involved in the robbery-holdup incident in a restaurant in Imus, Cavite.

Imus City Police Station officer-in-charge Lieutenant Colonel Jack Ango identified the arrested suspect as Meljohn Rutaquiao, who was nabbed in a follow-up operation in Pasay City on August 22, 2023.

Angog said Rutaquiao named another suspect as Mark Randolf Cajayon, while the two were identified only by their aliases, Rudy and Onyok. Two others are still unidentified.

Police recovered from the arrested suspect one of the motorcycles used for the commission of the crime.

Charges of robbery will be filed against the suspects who entered a restaurant and took the bags and other valuable belongings of the customers and of the store.

Police urged the public to immediately report to them any information related to the incidents and the suspects.

“We remind the public to remain cautious and aware of their surroundings. Taking measures and precautions such as safeguarding personal belongings, maintaining situational awareness, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity can contribute to the overall safety of our community,” said Angog.
