THE police chief of Daraga, Albay, was relieved from post after the killing of Ako Bicol Party-list representative Rodel Batocabe.
Bicol Region Police Office director Chief Superintendent Arnel Escobal said Daraga police chief Superintendent Benito Dipad will be replaced by Superintendent Dennis Balla.
He said it was to give way to an impartial investigation on the slay of Batocabe on Saturday, December 22, while distributing gifts in the said town.
Escobal said there were at least six persons of interest in the killing of Batocabe. (SunStar Philippines)
