THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Thursday, April 2, 2026, assured departing and arriving overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) they will continue to receive assistance during the Holy Week break.

In a Public Advisory, the DMW said the One Repatriation Command Center (ORCC) will remain operational to provide immediate assistance to OFWs.

"Further, DMW and Overseas Workers Welfare (OWWA) teams will be on standby at airport terminals to assist returning OFWs from the Middle East," said the DMW.

The department said those set to depart may still avail of assistance.

"The Migrant Workers Airport Assistance Centers (MWAAC) in all airport terminals will remain open to serve departing OFWs throughout the Holy Week," said the DMW.

The DMW said its central office in Mandaluyong City will be closed from April 2 to 3, 2026.

"This is to provide government employees full opportunity to observe Maundy Thursday and Good Friday," said the DMW.

The Holy Week comes amid the ongoing mass repatriation of OFWs in the Middle East.
