PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has tapped Bernadette Romulo-Puyat as the replacement of resigned Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo, a Palace source told SunStar Tuesday, May 8.
Puyat's appointment came just hours after Teo's lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, announced her resignation earlier Tuesday.
Prior to her new stint at the Department of Tourism, Puyat served as Agriculture undersecretary for Administration, Agribusiness and Marketing, and Regional Engagement.
