THE Quezon City (QC) Government has placed 37 areas under special concern lockdown for 14 days due to increasing coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases.
These areas are in the following barangays:
· Alicia
· Bahay Toro
· Loyola Heights
· Culiat
· Salvacion
· Baesa
· UP Campus
· Pasong Putik
· San Isidro Labrador
· Holy Spirit
· Ugong Norte
· Krus na Ligas
· Donya Aurora
· Sto. Nino
· Kaligayahan
· Central Socorro
· Novaliches Proper
· Payatas
· Tandang Sora
· Sta. Teresita
· Bagbag
· Sta. Lucia
· Talipapa
· Pasong Tamo
· San Bartolome
· Donya Imelda
· Ramon Magsaysay
The QC Government, however, clarified that not the entire barangay will be under lockdown.
It said home quarantine will strictly be enforced in these areas to prevent the further spread of the virus.
“Mamamahagi ang local na pamahalaan ng food packs at essential kits para sa mga apektadong pamilya at sila ay isasailalim sa swab testing at mandatory 14-day quarantine,” the LGU said. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo / SunStar Philippines)
