THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has ordered the revocation of the driver’s license of the suspect in the fatal car crash at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Pasay City earlier this month.

LTO chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said the driver was found guilty of reckless driving, and was meted the maximum penalty, which is to pay a fine of P2,000 aside from the four-year revocation of his driver’s license.

On May 4, a four-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man were killed when a sports utility vehicle (SUV) driven by a 47-year-old man from Batangas crashed through the passenger entrance of the departure area at the NAIA Terminal 1.

The driver was charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, multiple physical injuries, and damage to property.
