

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will fly to India for a five-day state visit in the first week of August.
In a statement, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said Marcos will hold a state visit to the Republic of India from August 4 to 8, 2025, upon the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“After official meetings and events in New Delhi, President Marcos and his delegation will travel to Bangalore,” the PCO said.
The agency said Marcos is expected to meet with the business leaders of both cities.
The President will also hold a meet and greet event for the Filipino community in New Delhi.
The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Philippines and India. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
