May 12 declared as special non-working holiday

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared May 12, 2025, Monday, as a special non-working holiday.

Marcos issued Proclamation 878 for the declaration of Monday, May 12, as a special non-working holiday all throughout the country to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote.

The Commission on Elections earlier said there were a total of 69,673,655 registered voters for the 2025 national and local elections. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
