May 27, 2026 declared a holiday for Eid’l Adha

MALACAÑANG has declared May 27, 2026, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice.

The declaration was made through Proclamation 1264, signed and released through the Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines on Thursday, May 21, 2026, recognizing one of the most important holidays in the Islamic faith.

The proclamation was signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on behalf of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (LRM)
