FORMER Bases and Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) president Vivencio “Vince” Dizon has been appointed as the new secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Bersamin said Dizon’s appointment is effective February 21, 2025, but was “already authorized by the Office of the President to start the transition.”
Dizon will replace outgoing DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista, who resigned due to health reasons. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
