THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has launched a mobile application that aims to make police services more accessible to the public.

The PNP-Communications and Electronic Services launched the “PNP Services” mobile application Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

The app includes the PNP’s frontline services such as the processing of firearms licenses (License to Own and Possess Firearm or LTOPF), police clearance, Pulis News Network, and links to various PNP offices or units.

In a press conference, PNP spokesperson Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said the PNP intends to integrate the PNP Services app into the government's one-stop-shop eGov application.

“Itong programang inilunsad ay nandun yan naka-incorporate sa apps at naumpisahan nitong Hunyo lamang at pupuwedeng makita niyo doon ang mga official websites and official social media accounts ng ating mga PNP units," Fajardo said.

(This program that was launched is already incorporated into the app, which started just this June, and there you can find the official websites and social media accounts of our PNP units.)

"Nandun din ‘yung mga telepono, nandun rin naka-incorporate ‘yung 911 on how to use the 911 mechanism. Nandun na rin ‘yung tumatayong mga e-sumbong system na yan. So any apps pati ‘yung mga frontline services ng PNP ay nandun na,” she added.

(The contact numbers are also there, and the 911 mechanism—how to use it—is also integrated. The e-Sumbong system is already included as well. So all those apps, including the PNP's frontline services, are already there.)

Fajardo urged the public to use the application for their convenience.

The app is currently available for download only on Android phones. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
