A POLICEWOMAN shot dead on Monday, February 3, 2024, her husband, who is also a cop.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the couple’s residence in Barangay Cuayan, Angeles City.
According to a witness, he heard a gunshot from the couple's residence, prompting him to check.
Inside the house, the witness found the victim’s body with a gunshot wound in the head.
The victim was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead.
The identified suspect was the victim’s wife, who is now under police custody.
The victim was assigned at the Angeles City Police Station while his wife is a member of the Pampanga Provincial Forensic Unit.
Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said investigation as to the motive of the killing is still ongoing. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
