In a statement, NAIA said the area has already been secured and access to the place of the incident has been limited to authorized personnel from New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and MIAA Security, who are currently conducting a full investigation.

“Individuals who sustained injuries are now currently being treated. The driver involved in the incident is now in the custody of the PNP,” it said.

“At this time, we are awaiting official confirmation on the cause of the incident and reports of injuries. We are closely coordinating with all concerned agencies to gather accurate information,” it added.
