A TRAINING aircraft made an emergency landing in Bulacan after experiencing engine trouble Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) said.

In a statement, the Caap said the aircraft, a Piper Tomahawk with Tail No. RPC1085 operated by Fliteline Aviation, safely performed a forced landing in a farmland in Plaridel town following an engine failure.

The agency said both the flight instructor and student pilot were unharmed and were accounted for.

“An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the engine malfunction,” said the Caap. (TPM/SunStar Philippines)
