TV and events host Princess Joyce Pring-Triviño has graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA at 32. She also received the Best in Thesis award.
Pring-Triviño returned to school in 2022, shortly after her first child's birth. She shared her emotional journey on Instagram, stating, "This diploma isn’t just a piece of paper, it’s a promise kept: a promise of healing, restoration, and newness of life. God has weaved the most beautiful story for His glory, and for my good.”
Pring-Triviño gained fame as an MTV VJ and hosted GMA Network shows such as Unang Hirit and The Clash. Despite a successful career and growing family, she remained committed to finishing her education, a long-held dream.
For Pring-Triviño, the academic honors are secondary.
She believes "The ultimate prize is Christ Himself revealed through every moment that led up to this."
Her graduation marks a personal achievement and a story of healing, hope, and unwavering faith. (Allyssa Doncillo, HNU Intern)
