Car hits convenience store in Bacolod

A PICK-UP truck rammed into the glass window of a convenience store at corner Magsaysay Avenue-Lacson Street, Bacolod City past 12 midnight on Thursday, July 6.

Superintendent Luisito Acebuche, head of Traffic Management Unit of Bacolod City Police Office, said engineer Pearl Kayrenn Bayato, 25, of Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental was about to park her vehicle when she stepped on the accelerator.

Bayato came from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental with her three co-workers.

Bayato and her passengers were unharmed and there were no customers inside the store when the incident happened.

She is set to meet with the store's owner to settle the damage, the police said. (GYM)
