Lake of Alindahaw Lakewood

THE beautiful lake of Municipality of Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur can be reached by land at almost one and a half hour from Pagadian City and six hours from Cagayan de Oro City.

Due to my work commitment, I always visit Pagadian City for business purposes. I heard about the lake when I asked my friend who lives in Pagadian City, to tell me about the beautiful places to visit near the area. She recommended this place that it’s very nice to visit the lake and be in love with its view.

When we went to Pagadian City last month, my friend and I decided to visit the lake and checked in at one of the popular resorts near the area. We arrived late at the hotel, so we decided to take a rest since we could not see anything on the lake. But I already felt relaxed with the serene ambiance.

When I woke up early in the morning and opened the door, I was astonished to see the nice view of the lake just facing our hotel. It’s not the usual beach where you can hear waves splashing.

You will actually feel relaxed and thank God for the gift of nature and its silent water that provides the cold breeze around the lake.

Good thing at the resort where we’ve stayed, aside from the beautiful view of the lake, they also had plenty of activities that we can do for the whole day. They have an infinity pool facing the lake, for us to enjoy while taking our favourite selfies and poses. They also have a lot of KTV rooms to choose and you can also try their sing a lake music lounge. The place also has their lake side café and a floating restaurant.

If you’re adventurous and want to try various sports activities, the place can provide you the thrill. You can try using the “kayak” and swim in the lake or survey the lake using the jet sky, water bike or the lake tour adventure. If you want to see the whole lake you can ride with their zip line. All are at a very reasonable price.

Many residents staying within the area are saying that no one knows how deep the lake is and up to know it remains mysterious. But the beauty of the lake itself is the most mysterious creation. The silence and peace of the area make you realize the positive outlook of life as it serves to be a therapy and a stress reliever.
