CEBU Provincial Board (PB) Member Sun Shimura authored a resolution congratulating Rep. Manny Pacquiao for winning the world welterweight title, and all members of the PB approved it.
The resolution stated that Pacquiao’s victory boosted the morale of the Cebuanos, most especially those devastated by recent killer typhoon.
The resolution further stated that the victory reinvigorated the spirit of every Filipino to strive for the best amidst various adversities.
The resolution further stated that Pacquiao’s victory is an affirmation that the champion has reached the level of excellence, after beating Bradley, who had not suffered any loss in his fighting career.
