TEN kilos of marijuana worth about P10,000 were seized by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Island Region (PDEA-NIR) from a suspect in a drug bust at Southbound Terminal in Bacolod City Wednesday afternoon.
The apprehension was confirmed by lawyer Roselyn Borja, officer-in-charge of PDEA-NIR.
The operatives arrested Eduardo Simons, 54, of Barangay Villamonte. Simons, a former college professor, was placed under surveillance by PDEA for several months.
Drug charges are being readied against the suspect.
