11th Pomelo Tee of RPVGG next week

ATTENTION: 11th Pometo Tee of Rancho Palos Verdes--scheduled on April 28-May 1, 2016. That is next week already. Good Luck to the participants!

Oh, and I saw Den de Castro at Golf View. I asked how they did at the 10th Jack Nicklaus International Invitational. The qualifying event was last April 15 at Canlubang Golf. He said they did not do so well. Oh well. Better luck next time.

However, congratulations to the two teams that made it to the finals. Here are the teams with their rankings during the qualifying round. In 5th place was Alrey Ceniza and Oscar Rebosura, and in 8th place was Karloz Alba and Chad Borja.

Speaking of…there was this speed gun cop stationed at Mamay Road who was about to end his graveyard shift. He was ready to go home and call it a day. It was almost 6 a.m. At about that time, Den de Castro was on his way to Rancho Palos Verdes and he was cruising along Mamay Road doing 60kph. Naturally, the speed gun cop instructed him to stop. Den had loud music in his car and he did not see the cop, and, he did not stop. The cop went after him. It was a long chase.

And finally, the cop caught up with him. Den was surprised why he was stopped. The cop said, “Boss, 60kph ang takbo mo. Pagod na ako, nagmamadali na ako kasi ang Misis ko nasa hospital. Kung maganda ang rason mo bakit ka nag speeding, hindi na kita bibigyan ng ticket.”

Den thought and thought. And then he replied, “Boss, iniwan kasi akong girlfriend ko. And sabi ay nagsama na raw siya sa isang pulis. Yung nakitakita, at nakita kong hinabol mo ako, akala ko ikaw yung pulis na boyfriend ng ex ko at akala ko hinabol mo ako dahil gusto mo siyang ibalik sa akin. Boss, natakot ako, kaya gusto kong makatakas. Ayun. Sorry Boss.”

The cop said, “Okay, drive safely, Boss.” Hehe... Peace, Den!
