CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga - Two Koreans took from another Korean national his car at the parking lot of SM Clark in Barangay Lakandula, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, Sunday.
Authorities said that Woolim Bae, 30, a resident of Lamtang road, Baguio City, was about to sell his BMW car (with plate number VEB-404) to two unidentified Korean nationals.
Prior to the incident, the victim and the suspects transacted on January 21, at a Korean website where the suspects pretended to be buyers of the said car.
It was on Sunday when they met at Rishan Village Residences located in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City, for the transaction.
However, authorities said that after an hour, the victim and the suspects went to the SM City Clark parking lot for further negotiation for the payment amounting to P1.2 million.
Authorities added that while the victim was outside of his car, the suspects took away his vehicle and immediately sped off towards an unknown direction.
Police requested the CCTV footage of said village and parking lot if any and will coordinate with Korean officials in Balibago, Angeles City.
