CHARGES have been filed on Tuesday before the City Prosecution Office (CPO) against two men for alleged stealing.
Cris Jeran Segovia, 34, driver, of Kilometer 4 Hilltop Village in Barangay 19-B in Davao City, and Jupiter Sagucom, 23, gardener, resident of Barangay Magpet, Kidapawan in Cotabato were charged with qualified theft.
A source, who refused to be named for lack of authority to speak, said personnel from Sasa Police Station brought the two suspects before Prosecutor Stella Esparagoza-Camino at around 11:30 a.m. for inquest proceedings.
Record from the police showed the suspects were caught in the act by the security guard on duty outside the compound of their employer located at Phase 2 Insular Village in Lanang on Monday around 8:30 p.m.
Jomar Carpenteros Guadaluiver saw the suspects bringing container of gasoline without the knowledge of their employer, Artica Uy.
Recovered from their possession were eight liter of diesoline gas and P344.
Guadaluiver arrested the suspects when he learned that the two planned to rob the house.
The suspects are now detained at the Sasa Police Station. (Ivy C. Tejano)
