THE River One Adventure's Tribu Trail Run gets underway on Sunday in Barangay Langub, Maa, Davao City.
Race director Dax Ang, in a statement, said the event aims to promote the city as an eco-adventure tourism destination in the country.
"We are organizing this train run in line with the Tribu Outdoors global campaign to usher greater appreciation for running in the natural environment," Ang said.
Ang said they expect some 200 participants including weekend runners, marathon athletes, adventure athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
The event features the 11K male and female amateur category.
Interested participants may sign up at River One Adventure, Tribu Outdoors Kurv Industries and Run Club Davao.
Registration fee is P350 inclusive of train run singlet.
